Nerd are rad, 90 is bad.

So went to the NERD gig on Saturday night, was honestly one of the best gigs EVER!
So, so, so good.
We waltzed straight in with our VIP wrist bands and hung in the VIP bar didn't meet Pharell but just seeing him in action was enough for me. My pal sent her boyfriend of 7 years a text mid concert to tell him she was leaving him to run away with Pharell, fair dues.
Great gig, but nothing like the tube line being closed for track work and having to sit on a bus for 1 hour to get some where remotely near where you live to really put a dampener on the evening and make you wish you had gone to the can before you left.

Then spent Sunday with the extended family for my Grandmas 90th birthday.
Please don't let me get to 90, it just seems like hard work. Gran and her 86 year old sister are honestly the oldest people in the world.
Sitting there with their hearing aids whistling like high pitched dog whistles, but they cant hear them because they are so deaf. Beige knee high stockings with open toe comfortable sandals and their slips hanging down under their skirts and them not knowing. Moving at a top speed of 5 miles a day.
Old = bad times, and whats with the eating, these old people eat soooo much food. We had a roast for lunch, so that is beef, and potatoes and Yorkshire puddings and vegetable and then dessert which was a massive brownie or sundae. Then there were sandwich's an hour later and scones and tea and two birthday cakes that got all eaten up and then cupcakes and sweets and snacks. I was done after the roast lunch but no no no , these oldies where in there hoovering it down like it was going out of fashion.
Someone explained to me that because they lived through the war, when they had nothing, they are making up for it now.
So, that's the trick, live during a war and you can eat what you want.
