Bad times & Good times

I am not a massive fan of hot drinks as I always burn my mouth by drinking it when it is still to hot.
How are you supposed to gauge if it is hot, really hot, or burn the crap out of your throat hot...usually I get the last option and end up with an ulcer on my tongue the size of Pluto.
Hot drinks are not really my thing.
In the U or K this is not very common, they all love a hot drink over here.
I do quite enjoy a herbal tea though and will sacrifice the risk of a mouth burn for the calming effect of say Chamomile or the refreshing zing of ginger.
Today, I made a tea of the Chamomile variety and had to dash off to a meeting, so came back and sat down and took a sip of what I tough was lovely hot tea..it was not.
It was stone cold, and really there is nothing worst.
Cold tea sucks.
It is horrible and it made me spit it out all over the place, which does not bode well in a open plan office and it basically ruined my day - This was bad times.

After a day off I came to work to day to find a a pile of crap on my desk.
It always amazes me that you take one day off and the mail guy thinks it is just a free for all and chucks your mail where ever the f*ck he wants.
Seriously, stuff was strewn everywhere.
Amongst the magazines and piles of junk, was a lovely little white plastic bundle all the way from the land down under.
A package of care from my sister...oh how sweet it is to receive a care package.
Full of lovely Australian things that I missed and that you can get here.
Seriously, if I had know that you could not get smoked Tuna in this country I probably would not of moved here.
The other Aussie who sits near me was mega jealous and has since emailed her brother to send her something in the email as you see, a care package is good on many levels, it is mail which is always fun to receive, it is from a foreign land, which is also exciting and it is filled with nice things.
A little piece of home in the post - This was good times

Yabba Dabba Do!!

So yesterday went to fashion week, it was full of idiot fashion students and losers who try way to hard to be different.
The show was a joke...the inspiration was...The Flintstones...
Seriously, a 4 year old could of designed a better range of clothing.
Anyway, there were celebs there, which was awesome.
Check out the pictures...that is Lady Victoria Hervey, some b grade royal celeb with to much chest on show and hang on..who is that behind her, with the red hair that you can just see and the brown glassed...oh yes..that is me.
I win.
