I love snow

Last night, it snowed in London.
First time it has snowed in October in 50 years or something crazy like that.
It was flipping freezing.
Unfortunately I was out wearing open toe shoes, so not the best choice of footwear but hey.
Also, bathroom is finally finished.
But the tight a** owners totally scrimped. The did the floor, the tiles and the walls and then put back in the old shitty tub, sink and toilet. So we have a half new half old bathroom.
Idiots.

I am having flatmate trouble.

One flatmate is never there as he is avoiding the house, since we kicked his free loader friend out. And the other flatmate is slowly turning into a complete nut case.

So we are getting a new bathroom this week.
Great, I couldn't really care less about the bathroom. The old one was fine, it worked. But no, no no, dumbo nut job flatmate kicks up a massive stink and now we are getting a new one.
The ball ache, is in order to get a new bathroom, you have to get rid of the old one, so I have no toilet or shower whilst it is being done.
So this week, I have been hauling ass all over town, staying at friends places and loosing hair pins.

So I basically have the sh*ts with the whole thing and am hardly speaking to dumbo flat mate as just looking at her makes me so angry. She is patronising and depressed and high maintenance and I hate her.

So we had a bit of email communication today, about the bathroom and other things and this is a expert from said email:

''I did mention to you in conversation that the builders might be here on Saturday, maybe you forgot....

I've got a lot on in my life right now, but I don't really like living in a house with hardly any friendly conversation other being asked about house stuff/bills that's all.

I'm not suggesting living in any ones pocket, but its a bit 'soul destroying' when you share a house with people, who don't bother at all each other..

You didn't respond to my friendly suggestion of doing something, so I guess that just illustrates what I mean, bit sad really''.

Hmm...Ok, so she is clearly a fu*king psycho and her email makes me want to punch a brick wall!
I am not writing back to this, what the hell would I say?...Oh, ok, I read your email and you sound super sweet, so yeah sure, lets be friends!
Seriously, what part of this email is going to make me think, that I ever want to talk to you again?
We live in the same house, we are just flatmates, sure we can be civil (well not any more) but I don't really want anything to do with you now.

So if anyone has a spare room give me a shout, cause I got to get away from the crazy lady toot sweet!

I am bored

Bored.
Bored.
Bored.

I have nothing to do at work.
I am getting paid to day dream, which is weird cause at school I used to get in so much trouble for it.

What it would be like to be Angelina Jolie's nanny?
I wonder what I would look like with a whole arm tattooed?
Why is my flat mate is such a retard?
Why do builders drink so much tea?
Is it to late for a career change, to be a makeup artist?

Seriously, I have never been the quite at work in my entire life.
I am bored of Google, I am bored of Facebook. I have been on every site on the whole Internet and read every magazine in London, I have googled film clips, I have watched TV shows I have painted my nails.
I am done.
I am sitting here counting the minutes till I can go home...there are 13 left.

I am the winner

Went to breakfast this morning, some blah blah meeting at uber posh hotel.
Sit down with people from magazine then this guy walks in and sits at the next table. Its Keanu Reeves.
My seat was facing his and we totally made eye contact about a thousand times, and I laughed at some thing and he looked right at me. Yep, Keanu loved my laugh.
He was hot, a bit tired but totally hot.
He ate scrambled eggs with bacon and grilled tomatoes and brown toast and drank orange juice.
I had to stop myself from swiping his napkin on the way out.

Things I love

The Sun
I love the sun. I don't like when it burns me but I do really like it. I think, because I hardly ever see it any more when I do I fall madly in love with it. Yesterday, spent 4 hours just lazying around Hyde park in the sun, its was super sunny duper.

Crying
I like a good cry. And not a personal emotional cry, I hate those ones but I like a good out of no where uncalled for cry fest. Like last night, when I was watching Ghost and I sat there and bawled my flipping eyes out, it was brilliant. When he died I cried, when she cries I cried, when he cries I cried, when they play that song I cried. I was a mess for a good two hours and it was amazing.

Jumble sales
I love a jumble sale, nothing better than rummaging though a pile of clothes to un earth a few bargains. 5 items for a pound, you can't go wrong, if you get them home and you realise that they are not right, then you can just use them as clothes to polish furniture, cause at 20p a pop that cheaper than buying a new chux super wipe. But I was so loved up by being at the jumble sale that I gave them £2 for my 5 items and it was a church so I thought that was a good thing to do.

Indian take away
I love Indian food, its brilliant over here in East London. I had to put the breaks on my consumption though as I was going a bit Biriyani crazy but now I have it under control. Still, a Indian take away on the couch on a Sunday night is a fabulous meal. And the best bit, you get to eat the left overs for lunch on a Monday or if like me, you forget to bring the left overs to work (which I do every time) then you get it for dinner and it take just as good, if not better.

My bike
I love my bike. I was really missing my bike when I was on holiday so since I have been back, I have been riding that thing everywhere. Makes me fell good, the wind in my hair, the soot from the bus in my face, the taxis trying to run me off the road. Ah, how relaxing.

Clean sheets
You knwo when you change the sheets on your bed and you get in there and it feels all tight and amazing. I love that feeling so much. And if I wake up after a night of clean sheets I have not moved at all, its like I am so comfortable as soon as I get into bed that that is it, no need to move about. This morning, I got out of bed and just folded back the corner and it was done, bed made. Brilliant.

Yas sau Malakas!

Ah Greece. So back form probably the best holiday ever.
If you ever want to relax and have fun and be fit and be lazy and eat and drink and have the best time ever...then go to the Greek islands.

So we started in Athens, did all the old stuff, like the Acropolis etc which was cool but was a bit stressful when I nearly got locked on some old ruins the site as we arranged to meet but forgot where we were actually meeting....
In Athens we had the best kebab ever, after 2 weeks we had eaten a few and we decided that the one we had on the 2nd night in Athens wins hands down.

Santorini - was tops, it was really hilly, un like the other islands and we watched a beautifully romantic sunset, I was waiting for a proposal but it never came.
Went on a excursion and walked down 558 steps, got on a old boat and went to a volcano then walked up that, then back down, then jumped into the water and swam over to hot springs and had a bit of a mud bath with the hot mud.
Then swam back, got the boat back then had to walk up the 558 steps as I am scared of heights so couldn't take the cable car and afraid of riding horses so couldn't take the donkey. Honestly, was the hardest thing I have ever done, absolute killed me.Also sat on the beach with black sand, that was cool and made a nice contrast to my pasty white skin.

Naxos - one of the crazier moments was when we decided to hire a sand buggy and run around the island for a day. The tip here, if you decided something when you are drunk, you don't really need to follow it through the next day when you are sober. But it was fun, crazy, windy fun.
And on the same day we found this restaurant which was more like someones house up a hill and had the best lunch ever.

Also, drank a few Pina Colades on the beach, you have to do these things, really.

Paros - is a fishing village and smelt fishy. We went on a bus tour of the island and had dinner at a restaurant where the boats are out the front and the squid hanging out to dry then they take it in and cook it and we ate it and it was brilliant.

Mykonos - started in a the cutest family run villa out of town that had about a thousand cats running around the place, went to Paradise beach...wasn't really my idea of paradise with all the umbrellas and deck chairs and pumping music but was still pretty good. The owners of the villa gave us home made wine and a key ring each, to cute.

Crete - is really big and busy. We went on a bus ride to a amazing old Monastery and to another part of the island and looked around the old town.Had a crazy night out at this Greek taverna, where they had a live band playing traditional old music and we had the best time, also had the drunkest time as the owner of the place took a bit of a shine to us and kept sending over free drinks all night long.
To say we were hammered is a major understatement, as that Greek Raki is very boozy stuff. So stumbled home and spent a good 20 minutes trying to get the key in the door of our room, the next day...was a total non event spent most of it on the beach. Only in the morning did we remember the video that Gemma took of me trying to open the door...oh dear.

So yes, best holiday ever, really felt like a holiday and I have a slight tan and am super duper relaxed. Makes me think how much I want to pack in my job and London and just travel around Europe for ever...maybe I will do that next year.
Greek people are lovely, Greek food is delicious and the Greek island (the ones we saw) are the best, the best Jerry, the best.

Viva La Greece!
